What the score tells you

A real score, not a vibe

Every clip gets a 0-100 virality score with a breakdown of what carries a short: hook, emotion, clarity, value, quotability.

It tells you what to fix

ClipAI's virality score flags your clip's weakest of five dimensions - hook, emotion, clarity, value, or quotability - so you can fix it before posting instead of after.

Checked against reality

After you post, ClipAI compares its prediction with your real views, so you can see how close it was.

Questions

Do I need an account to score a clip?

No. You can score 3 clips a day free without an account. Making clips from a full video is part of every ClipAI plan (from $12/month), and members can score more clips each day.

What does the virality score measure?

Five dimensions: hook, emotion, clarity, value, and quotability - the same rubric ClipAI uses on every clip it scores, shown as a 0-100 overall score with a breakdown per dimension.

How is the score calculated?

Each dimension is scored from 0 to 1 against written anchors, then combined in code with fixed weights: hook 25%, emotion 20%, clarity 20%, quotability 20%, value 15%. The result is shown as a score out of 100 with a one-line reason.

How is this different from other virality checkers?

Most rate-my-clip tools give a score and stop there. ClipAI checks its own prediction against the clip's real view count once you post it, so the score has to hold up against what actually happens.
