ClipAI lets you delete your data at any time. You have two options:
Delete data from within ClipAI
- Delete a video (and its clips): open the video in your library and use the delete action.
- Disconnect a social account: go to the Connect page in your dashboard and disconnect. This removes the stored access tokens for that platform.
Delete your entire account yourself
On clipai.online, open Settings and choose Delete my account, then type your email to confirm. In the ClipAI iOS app, open Settings and choose Delete account. Either way this deletes your account and the data listed below, and cancels a subscription bought on the web. Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription bought through the App Store: cancel it first in your Apple Account settings under Subscriptions.

Delete your entire account by email
To delete your full account and all data associated with it, including any data obtained through connected platforms (such as your Threads or Instagram profile information), email hello@clipai.online. We will delete the associated data and confirm once complete.
You can also delete individual videos and disconnect social accounts directly within ClipAI at any time, as described above.
What gets deleted
- Account information (name, email)
- Uploaded videos and generated clips, captions, and thumbnails
- Connected social-account tokens
- Your analytics profile, events and session recordings (PostHog), support contact and conversations (Intercom), and App Store subscription record (RevenueCat)
Billing records (invoices, payments and the customer record) are kept at Stripe, and App Store purchase records at Apple, for as long as tax and accounting law requires.
Stored video files, clips, thumbnails and brand images are removed from our storage as soon as you delete them. If our storage is briefly unavailable, we retry automatically, and they are gone within 30 days at most.
If you submitted a post to a brand’s public clipper marketplace campaign (not a ClipAI account), email hello@clipai.online with the campaign link and the post URL you submitted to have that submission deleted.
Some records may be retained where required for legal, security, or accounting purposes, as described in our Privacy Policy.
