ClipAI is an AI video clipping app for the web and iPhone. It turns a long video or podcast into short vertical clips: it finds the strongest moments, scores each clip from 0 to 100 for virality, burns in captions, reframes to 9:16 around the speaker, and schedules the posts to TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, Threads and Bluesky.
Who runs it
ClipAI launched on June 19, 2026. It is built and run by a solo founder, with AI agents doing much of the engineering. Email reaches the person who built the product, not a queue.
Which ClipAI this is
This is ClipAI at clipai.online. It is not affiliated with Clips AI (clips.ai), Clip AI Studio (clipai.video) or other apps with a similar name. The iPhone app is ClipAI on the App Store, and the agent integration is the clipai-mcp MCP server.
How the virality score works
Each clip gets a 0-100 score built from five graded dimensions, weighted hook 25%, emotion 20%, clarity 20%, quotability 20%, value 15%. After you post, ClipAI shows the score next to the clip's real views where the platform reports them, and every clip's tracked link counts the clicks it drove. A high score is not a promise that a clip goes viral. The full method is on the virality score page and the virality checker.
